Our House -- BEFORE
the "Renovations" |

We have a few warm days and things really start to look like
spring. We do have a rather late spring blizzard, though, and the
snow (all 5-10 inches of it) melts the next day. Here are some shots
taken before I leave work in the morning... followed by when I arrive home
that night... and a beautiful sunrise over the hills behind us:
There were also a few deer to greet me one morning:

The family comes down for a week, and we get snowed in...(we
are all living in the basement office, the room underneath the basketball
hoop). One day and nearly 2 ft of snow.
The next day is bright and sunny, and a lot of it melts away...

The purchase closes on December 15; it's starting to snow.
We're told it won't stop until next August some time. They're
just kidding...aren't they?

Well, we are looking for a new house, and Pattie goes
through this one and we like. Don (our architect) says he can make
it our dream home, so we're sold. These are some shots of the house
before we bought it (so, while the furniture's nice, it's not
ours, and the interior decorating is not exactly our taste -- too dark):
